Complete Set of Rare Vintage Posable Baseball Players
Set of three poseable baseball players made of stained and hand painted hardwood of a very high quality.
All of the articulated body parts are held together by elasticized string and can be posed in various ways.
It is only the pitcher's legs that appear to have a metal inner skeleton, so they are not quite as moveable.
The height of the figures when standing straight is about 4.25" with a base diameter of 2.3 inches.
Aside from a small crease in the paper visor on the pitcher's cap at the back, the figures are in near perfect condition.
Made sometime around 1960 and marked as"Foreign", they are a bit too refined to be of Japanese manufacture and are either European or American made. I have never seen these figures previously and to find a complete set of three is really exceptional.
