Autumn
two handled console bowl with embossed flowers and leaves.  This beautiful bowl is shown in McKee ads and catalogs from 1934.  There was a smaller bowl / dish made in this pattern.  This lovely bowl is in
Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or major mold imperfections
.
The bowl is the larger of the two sizes made.

McKee was one of the most innovative glass companies of the Depression Era. They were certainly well versed in what people wanted to decorate there homes with. They offered many colors and shades in milk glass to help complement the kitchen or dining room era. McKee used Black to accent many areas of the home.  Not as many pieces were made in the kitchen item line, but black bowls, shakers, and reamers are found. The reamers are not common and sought by many collectors today.  While we do not find all black cansiters, McKee used black canister and leftover lids on Seville Yellow and white round canister bottoms. Vases and accent pieces were also made.
