    Approximately 1/4 inch long 20 gauge post
    The manufacturer advertises this nose stud as having a 20ga (.8mm diameter) post, but the post is actually a slightly thinner 22ga (.6mm diameter) which is typical of all mass produced sterling silver nose jewelry. It will fit fine in either a 22ga or 20ga piercing.
    The wearable length varies from 5mm to 6mm. Each nose stud has a tiny non-removable ball on the end of the post which is slightly larger than the post itself to help prevent the stud from falling out.
